About 1 hour drive from Vientiane, along the provincial road No 10 , striving upon the top of pine tree moutains , leap around the rocky and gently hills and visit the Hmong Village at Phoukaokhauy Village .
The schedule
We start off our day in Vientiane. First we will drive several kilometer out of town, we will pass by the farming villages and travel further to reach to Ban Napheng where we will get off paved road then strive to the dust trail.
After the entrance check point, we will be driving curvy trail along the trial up.
Our first view spot is pine tree area , followed by a very nice lake view and a fabulous green screnery.
Eventually we will reach to Ban Phoukao Kuay with its ethnic hmong village where we will stop and you can discover the way of life of hill tribe people .
On our the way back, we will drive alonge the Nam Mang lake. Steep and curvy round track down hill on the southeast border of Phoukaokuay National park.
From there we carry on to Ban Napheng and later back to Lao's capital Vientiane.
